We are excited to shortly commence construction of a new bespoke home designed for one of our clients. Modelled on American farmhouse designs, it also has Hamptons and Queenslander elements imbued into its DNA.
The external façade contains multiple gables within a complimentary roof pitch that sits over significant verandah and entertaining spaces. Large oversize hardwood verandah posts frame the entry portico and main verandah area. The entry stairs are an old school style enclosed look that adds to the impressive arrival statement. Externally, large architrave moldings surround each window and door opening, further enhancing the façade’s appeal.
Internally the living area is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and design. The focal point is the stone clad fireplace and chimney which rises to the full height of the raised pitched VJ ceiling and painted rafters. While this space is expansive, the timber floors and built-in window seats create a place of warmth and connection that will facilitate endless conversations. The enticing appeal of this space is reinforced by the enormous picture windows that bring the external environment into view with scale. Refined Hamptons style entrance archways that frame the entry and exit points to this area confirm the sense of elegance this home is filled with.
