The design and construction skills of the Garth Chapman team have been applied to a contemporary home. Widely recognised and industry awarded as a builder of new Queenslanders, GCQ wanted to show the market that these same skills were transferrable into a contemporary home. We have crafted this prestige home with the highest amount of care and discretion. Decisions were made by the Director, Stephen Havas, and his close nit team as if they were the ultimate owners of the home. This home represents a significant investment in showcasing the talents of our entire group. From the designer, Kevin Hincksman, our carpentry team, right thru each trade, that have often been with us for in excess of a decade, and suppliers. All professionally coordinated by the construction supervisor, Trent Benett.
From every angle the home exudes amazing detail that draws the eye of the viewer and tells a story. From the street this home will place a smile on your face as you explore its many angles and subtleties. The raised timber entry provides an inviting space to greet and depart inhabitants and visitors alike. Enter through the 1200mm wide modern cedar door and be immediately welcomed inside by 6m high vaulted ceilings with two glittering crystal chandeliers, instantly giving the home an elegant and mesmerising atmosphere. Purposefully placed, large windows allow an abundance of natural light into the downstairs level, illuminating the light interiors and stunning 130mm wide Sydney Bluegum timber flooring laid throughout the home.
